SINGLE-FAMILY HOME

This is a new construction project for an isolated single-family house with a flat roof, consisting of a basement, ground floor and first floor. A large garden space is projected on the south and west side. The basement is diaphanous and it is used as a garage. On the north side of the ground floor are the rooms for services. The day rooms: the living room, dining room and kitchen are open to the outside and connected through a porch space. This intermediate space between the interior and the exterior allows the house to extend to the garden. In the same way, this porch protects the interior of the house from solar radiation during the summer months. On the first floor the same structure of galleries is maintained. The central gallery is a diaphanous and open space that articulates and relates the different rooms, as well as the outdoor terrace. On the northwest side are the bathrooms, the elevator and the master bedroom suite with a dressing room and bathroom. The rest of the rooms are located in the southeastern part. The structure of the building is made of reinforced concrete with pillars and unidirectional slabs.
